The news is out, and everyone from Veg News and Food Business News to vegan blog The Beet can’t stop talking about Gardein’s new line of plant-based soups. And yes, they even make your favorite: Chicken Noodle (without the real chicken OR the egg in the noodles).
As Conagra’s meatless darling, Gardein is a brand I’m personally attached quite attached to. (Picture me saying this in a cheesy 90s infomercial: “I’m not only the writer. I’m also a customer.”) That’s why it was such an honor to be asked to write the copy for their five new vegan soups made with plant-based Gardein chick’n, be’f and saus’ge (gotta love those legal spellings).

I got the opportunity to develop a new tagline to explain the origin of the Gardein name, and it’s now making its way onto packages across multiple categories: Where there’s garden-grown protein, there’s Gardein.
