Stoplight Success.

11/04 2016

This one time (yesterday) in Boulder (where I live) I was driving home after grabbing a cone of burnt honey ice cream from my buddy Ian’s ice cream shop Heifer & The Hen. Not sure how or why that part of the story is relevant, but let’s just call it a shameless plug. Anyway, as I pulled to a full stop at a light like the good, law-abiding citizen that I am, I noticed something staring at me out of the corner of my eye. It was a Boulder Valley School District van with a graphic of The Success Effect strategic plan that I named and helped develop a couple of years back with the team from Vermilion. You can imagine my delight, as it was clearly enough to get me to grab my phone for a quick snapshot.

It was a blast working with Vermilion and the BVSD superintendent to brand this forward-facing plan and create messaging that would inspire the entire district for its boundless future. Now, I don’t know about you, but I just love blasts from the past, so consider this one of mine. I promise I won’t reminisce via blog too frequently, but I can’t promise I won’t go back for a full pint of ice cream next time. That is all.
