Get High on Adulthood.
What began as an initiative to reduce underage drinking in Adams County has now expanded to include—cough, cough—recreational marijuana. As of January 1, 2014, weed is legal for purchase in Colorado as long as you have 21 years of age to back it up. As a result, Buyers Keepers (the campaign I concepted and developed for the Adams County Prevention Partnership) has now expanded from liquor stores to dispensaries to promote responsible alcohol AND cannabis sales to adults only.
New campaign lines include “Grown for Grownups” and “Sharing Your Stash is a Pain In the Ash.” Because remember: If you’re old enough to buy it, you should be smart enough to keep it to yourself.
