Dave’s Killer Copywriter
Is there any brand more EPIC than Dave’s Killer Bread? I submit that there is not. And that’s why I’m especially proud to be on the team of copywriters, namers and strategists lucky enough to pack this brand full of creative firepower. Since first working on the brand positioning and manifesto for Dave’s years ago, I am honored that the Flowers Foods team continues to come to me as they launch more killer new products into the marketplace.
The brand’s outrageously organic sliced breads, bagels and buns are just the beginning. Over the past decade or so, I’ve been honored to contribute to the launches of soft-baked snack bars, amped-up protein bars and crunchy toasted snack bites all under the Dave’s Killer name.
From written concepts for testing to product naming explorations and copywriting, it’s been my pleasure to be one of the natural born killers on this hungry and hardworking crew. Not a day goes by without my kitchen cupboards being stocked with all things Dave’s. My personal faves? Good Seed sliced bread (it’s seedy in a good way), Epic Everything bagels (these things give me life with slices of melted American cheese), Oat-rageous Honey Almond snack bars (they taste sweet and simple, but they’re jam-packed with organic ingredients and nutrition) and Toasted Garlic snack bites (just trust me…they’re killer).

There are few things I love more than real, nourishing, cram-in-your-face-hole kind of foods. And a company founded on giving people second chances is one of them. Dave’s, you have my ❤️ forever.
