Before You Play, Beforeplay.org.

After four months of content strategy and copywriting goings-on, my beloved Beforeplay.org is now live, living large and totally in charge. I did the writing for this site working closely with the outstanding design, creative direction and account teams at Vermilion, and I am completely enamored with how the site turned out.

From a detailed birth control method selector and another tool that “uncovers STDs” to a health center locator and all kinds of helpful resources, this site goes above and beyond. Its overarching goal is to help reduce the amount of unplanned pregnancies in Colorado. But specifically, it aims to normalize the conversation around typically-taboo topics like birth control and STDs. All you have to do is have a conversation to avoid having an unplanned pregnancy, and now Beforeplay.org is here to provide everything you need to get talking.
